Doyle Horizontal Gap Gauge

Description:  This tool is consists of a 1” travel dial indicator mounted in an aluminum fixture that rests on the knife tip. Hardened dowels provide for a non-wear seat for the knife tip. This gauge is held flat against the knife with a magnet; the indicator foot rests against the nose bar or roller bar.

Usage:  This tool will easily and accurately measure the horizontal distance between the knife and nose bar. This tool will work with flat bars and any diameter roller bar.

Benefits: This tool allows a precise horizontal bar gap measurement (within .001”) for a nose bar or roller bar.

Precision set-up before start of shift eliminates lost production time.
